Cristiano Ronaldo is ranked among the world-class football players to grace the football ground. He is probably one of the best players to live on the planet.

The things that make him so unique are his attacking skills, devotion to the game and always wanted to something more in his gaming skills in order to improve them.

But the thing that shows him bad is that while playing on the ground sometimes he overreacts. Due to which he loses his cool and does something unexpected because of which he ends up receiving red cards.

These type of issue with Ronaldo has been seen happening a few time. So we are just going to take a deep look at those times where CR7 lost his cool on the ground.

#5 Cristiano Ronaldo Headbutts Richard Hughes

Real Madrid faced Portsmouth in a match a long time ago where Ronaldo was seen headbutting Richard Huges. That time Huges was signed to Portsmouth FC.

In the midway of the match, when one of a Manchester United player took a corner due to an outside. After which the players of both teams were getting ready for the corner.

And as the ball came flying towards them, Ronaldo went for it but instead, he hit the Portsmouth player Richard Huges right on the forehead. Due to which, one the official handed Ronaldo a red card and sent him off the ground.

Huges told in an interview, he knew from the start thar Ronaldo will come looking for the ball as before the shot took place Ronaldo shoved him away to get some space. And he was meant to go slowly for the ball but instead, he came so fast that it seemed like Ronaldo tried to headbutt him.

#4 Ronaldo Sends off Multiple Shots against Cordoba

Real Madrid faced-off Cordoba back in the early starting of 2015. In the match, Madrid defeated Cordoba by 2-1. But during the match, a point came when both teams were at 1-1 score.

And to make the team win Ronaldo was trying his best but was failing each and every single time due to which he was getting frustrated. But when finally Ronaldo was about to score a goal for his team he not only kicked Cordoba’s player Edimar but also hit him in the face.

Due to which he saw his way out of the ground after an official handed him a red card.

After which Gareth Bale came as Ronaldo’s replacement and finally scored one more goal to make team Madrid win. Soon after the match was ended Ronaldo reached out to his Twitter handle and apologized for the action he earlier did in the game.

#3 Ronaldo Pushes Away Guardiola

In November 2010, Barcelona faced-off against Real Madrid. In the match, the Spanish Giants squashed Madrid 5-0 to secure a win. But like always this match didn’t go well as expected by many.

When Ronaldo was defending the ball from one of Barcà’s players an outside happened. And on that spot former Barcelona coach, Pep Guardiola was standing. Though Pep was supposed to throw in the ball, he decided not to throw-in.

Due to which Ronaldo came to took the ball after which he pushed away coach. Ronaldo’s actions made Barcelona’s players infuriated after which many verbal and a little bit of physical confrontation happened between the two teams.

It’s not cleared as to why Ronaldo decided to push away Guardiola in the first place. Was it because he didn’t hand over the ball to Ronaldo or because of any other reasons.

#2 Nani Goal Gaffe Ronaldo

Again in November 2010, Cristiano Ronaldo lost his cool. But this time it was not because of the opponent team but because of the player of his own team. In the match, Real Madrid was up against Barcelona.

And the game became one side just because of Ronaldo’s scoring skills which Madrid to a 4-0 win. But in the match, there was a spot when Ronaldo went to score against ßarca. He was showing off his attacking skills by outsmarting every player who was getting in his way.

And finally, when he kicked the ball over Barcelona’s goalkeeper and just as it was a few inches away from the net, Nani (former Madrid player) reached out to the ball for a header. But the scored goal was disallowed as Nani shot it from the point-blank range (offside).

After which Ronaldo got frustrated and throw-off his captain’s armband as Nani steal-off probably Ronaldo’s one of the memorable goal.

#1 Ronaldo Infamously Winks at Wayne Rooney

This infamous wink incident happened back at the quarterfinals of 2006 World Cup between England and Portugal. In the match, Portugal defeated England to move on to the semi-finals.

But as the match was going on Cristiano Ronaldo did something that was truly unexpected of him. One of the England players Wayne Rooney kicked one the opposing players right in the middle of his legs while defending the ball.

Due to which Ronaldo and other players from Portugal came running to the victim. Due to this unsportsmanlike action of Rooney, Ronaldo pleaded referee to send him off. After which Rooney received a red card and saw his way back down to the tunnel.

And as he was going back, the Portuguese player Ronaldo winked at him which left many people astonishing.

Though Rooney received a red card because of his cheap actions, Ronaldo winking at Rooney made him look worse than Rooney.
