AS Roma chairman James Pallotta has insisted goalkeeper Alisson will not be leaving the club this summer amid Liverpool links.
Liverpool were linked with a move for the Brazilian in January but no deal was done, leading to speculation the Merseyside club will return in the summer for the goalkeeper.
But despite the link, the Roma president was keen to quash the transfer rumours. NaijaBet.com
“Why should he leave?” Pallotta asked ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg at home to Barcelona, as reported by Football Italia. “He will stay – he has a contract.”

Alisson has been in excellent form for Roma this season with the fourth-placed Giallorossi hoping to overtake city rivals Lazio, currently in third – ahead only on goal difference.
The Brazilian will need to be at his best if Roma are to over-turn the 4-1 deficit from the first-leg of their Champions League quarter final meeting with Barcelona. NaijaBet.com
And despite trailing by three goals, Pallotta believes his side have a chance.

Alisson could be busy again but the stopper would be a perfect target for a Liverpool side that have had problems between the sticks this season. Both Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius have been suspect at times with the pair only keeping one more clean sheet this season combined compared to the Brazilian who has an impressive 13 to his name.
The Roma keeper has also made an average of 3.38 saves per goal conceded which easily eclipses both of Liverpool’s stoppers with Mignolet on 1.21 and Karius on 1.73. NaijaBet.com
Both clubs will be hoping to progress to the Champions League semi-finals though Roma have a tough task ahead, having to overcome a 4-1 deficit to Barcelona in Rome on Tuesday.
