Angel Di Maria has opened the door on a Paris Saint-Germain exit this summer after falling down the pecking order in the French capital.
The arrival of Neymar last summer from Barcelona left Di Maria on the periphery of first-team action, and despite featuring heavily since the Brazilian sustained a season-ending injury, the 30-year-old concedes he may still leave.

Speaking to France Football, he said: “I do not know [if I will be at PSG next season]; football is very weird … I’m happy here, but the club needs to bring in players and, for that, they have to sell other players.
“I was very disappointed not to be included in the starting XI, because I was in a good position.”
Di Maria joined PSG from Manchester United in 2015 and has gone on to make 130 appearances for the club, while scoring 50 goals in the process.
And despite boasting his most prolific goalscoring season, the Argentine believes a fully fit Neymar coupled with further summer recruitment and the permanent transfer of Mbappe in a few months time will ultimately close the chapter on his Paris career.
The silver lining for Di Maria is that if he chooses to depart from PSG, then there will be a host of clubs vying for his signature, such is the talent and brilliance of the 30-year-old forward.

Di Maria will also have the chance to add to his trophy cabinet later this month as PSG take on third-tier side Les Herbiers in the Coupe de France final – one of the biggest mismatches in French football history.
