Arsene Wenger has admitted that although he may be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season, he will not be leaving football for good and has instead vowed to work on.
Wenger, 68, made the shock announcement on Friday morning that he will be departing his beloved Arsenal at the end of the season, ending a 22-year association with the club.
Wenger will be aiming to leave the Gunners on a high note by winning the Europa League, as they lock horns with Atletico Madrid in the semi-final of the competition, with the first leg taking place at the Emirates on Thursday night.
Talking to reporters, via ESPN, ahead of the crunch clash, he said on his future: “Honestly, I don’t know what I will do.
“Will I take a little rest? I will continue to work, that is for sure.
Arsenal have struggled in the Premier League this season and now face consecutive finishes outside of the top four, though victory in the Europa League would provide the north London club with a backdoor entrance into the Champions League for next season.
