Hello and Welcome to Today’s Chelsea Transfer Round-Up. The 2018 FA Cup Winners looked to have been making some sort of progress in the transfer window as they looked to have finally landed the deals for their targets.
On that note, here are the top transfer stories of the day pertaining to Chelsea:
Dortmund rule out Alvaro Morata signing
Since the conclusion of the 2017/18 season, Alvaro Morata has been constantly linked with an exit out of Chelsea. He has attracted the interest of top European clubs over the last month from the likes of Juventus, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund and also Real Madrid.
The Spaniard endured a tough and demanding debut season in England as he scored just 15 goals in all competitions following his big-money arrival in July 2017. Dortmund signed Michy Batshuayi on loan in January, but following an early interest, there has been no indication of him being signed permanently by the Germans.
Chelsea agree terms with New Manager

After a month of uncertainty regarding the Managerial situation at Stamford Bridge, where some likely yet more unusual and bizarre candidates appeared in the running for the job, the Blues have finally found the successor to Antonio Conte.
Napoli had already appointed Carlo Ancelotti last month but have remained adamant on receiving a compensation for the 59-year-old all along. It is believed that Sarri will sign a two-year contract with an option of a third that includes a salary of £5 million per year and is expected to be unveiled in the coming days.
Sarri demands Alisson signing

Soon to be Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri has informed Chelsea to join the race for AS Roma star, Alisson Becker, the Metro claims. The Brazilian goalkeeper is already on the radar of Liverpool and Real Madrid while Roma are insistent on their demands and will sell him for no less than £70 million.
Sarri will possibly have a limited budget to work with during the transfer window and Alisson could be out of Chelsea’s reach since capturing him will consume a major chunk of their transfer kitty.
Johnathan Panzo set for Monaco switch

According to the Mirror, Chelsea are set to lose highly-rated youngster Johnathan Panzo to Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. The teenager has just 12 months remaining on his scholarship and has expressed his intent in moving abroad in search of first-team opportunities.
Former Chelsea technical director and now AS Monaco sporting director, Michael Emenalo has played a key role in attracting Panzo to France as the Blues are resigned to losing a promising player from their academy.
