Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani broke Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s goalscoring record in the club’s last game and he didn’t even realise.
With just 15 minutes remaining, a Cavani double consisting of a penalty and late strike earned the French champions a point.

Cavani was tied with Ibrahimovic on 113 league goals going into the match, but the Uruguayan’s two goals helped him over the line.
“I didn’t know that I had set a new record, but I’m happy to have written a little more history with this shirt,” Cavani told Canal+ (via Goal).
However, the side received criticism from fans, with some claiming that the players were already planning their holidays, a claim Cavani firmly denies.
“No, we are not on holiday already. This is not true,” he added.
PSG wrapped up the title with five games to spare, having beat their closest rivals Monaco 7-1 to give them an unassailable lead at the top of the table.
