Mark Lawrenson believes Liverpool will not suffer if they were to potentially lose Mohamed Salah in the summer.
However, his electric performances have seen him linked with the likes of Real Madrid, and if he were to leave, ex-Reds’ captain Lawrenson feels Jurgen Klopp’s side would bounce back.

“Unfortunately, there’s been a history of player sales and that’s just how the football club is – but I really don’t see it at all,” he told the Daily Express.
“He loves playing for Jurgen Klopp, he loves his team-mates and he gets the whole Liverpool thing.
“He’ll already be on big money. Unless Real Madrid say they’ll treble his wages I don’t think he’ll go, but I suppose you never really know.”
Before adding: “If they were to lose Salah they would bounce back – but I just don’t see him going.”
Salah’s wondrous season
Mohamed Salah featured across 83 matches for Roma, bagging 34 goals and creating a further 24 for his teammates, before relocating to Liverpool ahead of the 2017/18 season.
An ever-present under the leadership of Jurgen Klopp, Salah has registered 43 goals (with 10 of those coming in 11 Champions League games) and 15 assists in 46 outings for Liverpool.

The Egyptian has already equalled the best return across a 38-match Premier League season, as well as setting a new tally for the most games scored in during a Premier League season (23).
