Lookman’s deput goal delights Koeman

The Toffees manager has expressed delight after seeing his latest recruit score in his debut against the Citizens in Sunday’s English topflight fixture.

Romelu Lukaku opened scoring for the Toffees in the 34th minute and Kevin Mirallas doubled his side’s lead in the 47th minute.

Tom Davies chipped in the 3rd goal 11 minutes to the end of the game, and the former Charlton Athletic forward sealed his side victory in the 90th minute to push the hosts’ to the seventh position, with seven points behind Manchester United.

And Koeman says that he was glad the youngster has started showing his goal-scoring ability, adding that he can score from every chance he gets.

“It was also special to see Lookman score as well,” Koeman told Everton website.

“It was a great goal on his debut. We saw his quality when we were scouting him and he has shown it at this level – one chance, one goal.”
