Riyad Mahrez has signed a new Leicester contract tying him to the Premier League champions until 2020.
The winger has drawn a line under speculation over his future by committing long-term to the club on a deal which has no buy-out clause.
Mahrez said earlier that there were “two or three clubs” who could make him consider leaving the King Power Stadium
But news of his new deal means Leicester have managed to keep hold of last season’s PFA Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Award winner Jamie Vardy. Naija and Bet
N’Golo Kante did leave for Chelsea after his release clause was activated, but Wes Morgan, Kasper Schemiechel and Andy King have all signed new contracts this summer.
And last-season’s top scorer Vardy also signed an extension after turning down the chance to join Arsenal.
