Napoli are no longer in the hunt for Germany and Bayer Leverkusen ‘keeper Bernd Leno, according to the player’s agent.
The German has kept nine clean sheets and conceded on average 1.23 goals per game, while his distribution is high: 70% on average.
And Bernd Leno’s agent has essentially ruled out Napoli as a potential new club for the ‘keeper, telling Bild: “I can confirm that there were negotiations with Napoli, which we have called off. Napoli is not an option.”
Arsenal and Atletico Madrid are still in the running, the same report suggests.
Should Arsenal go in for Leno? The German compared with Cech and Ospina

Rather surprisingly, Leno fairs quite poorly when compared with Arsenal’s incumbents Petr Cech and David Ospina.
The German’s distribution is good, 70%, but Cech manages 72% in a possession-based, albeit underperforming Arsenal team, while again anomalous Ospina has 83%.
Ospina leads the way on saves per goal, with five, while Cech is on 1.62 and Leno has 1.19.
