Jorginho was seen in tears after his side all but gifted Juventus the title following Napoli‘s 2-2 draw with Torino over the weekend, as speculation over a move to the Premier League heats up.
The Brazilian-born Italian international has been a key player in Napoli’s title-charge this season, and was clearly devastated at the final whistle on Sunday as his side let the Scudetto slip through their fingers.
The Partenopei beat Juventus two weeks ago, and given their more favourable fixture list looked front-runners over the Old Lady to secure the Italian title.

However, defeat to Fiorentina and a draw to Torino has left the Bianconeri needing just one more point to seal their seventh consecutive Scudetto.

According to Jorginho’s agent, the midfielder “cried” after the draw with the Bull on Sunday, as he further went on to confirm that four or five clubs from the English Premier League were monitoring his client.
With the title all but out of reach for the 26-year-old – who has been linked to moves with Manchester City and Liverpool in the past – he admitted that he “liked” the possibility of moving to England.
His agent also confirmed possible interest in his player, but conceded that nothing has been made official as of yet.
“He’s been at Napoli for more than four years, his son is Neapolitan,” Joao Santos told CalcioNapoli24.
“He felt he could give something to the Neapolitan people. He cried after the draw yesterday, but they weren’t tears of joy. He hoped to do something for the Napoli fans.
“His future? He’s a professional, he gave everything for Napoli, he feels Neapolitan in every sense.
“It’s a difficult time for him, everyone expected more than second place. A Manchester City bid for Jorginho? Everyone knows there are four or five Premier League clubs who want Jorginho.
“Napoli have never talked about anything and I’ve never talked to other teams officially. I’m waiting for Napoli to define his future.”

In the final games of the season, Juventus take on Roma at the Stadio Olimpico, before a home match against already relegated Hellas Verona.
Meanwhile Napoli face a trip to Genoa to take on Sampdoria, before hosting Crotone on the final day. It is likely that the Brazilian-born midfielder will decide his future when the season is finished.
Jorginho is contracted with the club until 2020, and while Santos is open to a possible renewal on his current deal, he admits that “anything can happen in football.”
“Jorginho still has two years left on his contract, and if Napoli want to sell him, he’ll just have to find an agreement with another team and then he’ll have to talk to us about it.
“A hypothetical renewal with an amended contract? We’ll have to wait until the end of the season to talk to Napoli. Anything can happen in football.”
Napoli take on Sampdoria away this Sunday in the league.
