Former Nigerian coach, Sunday Oliseh has spoken about his delight after masterminding Fortuna Sittard’s 5-2 win over Jong Ajax on match day 24 of the Eerste Divisie (Dutch second division).
Fortuna came back from 0-2 down on Monday night to complete the big win as Oliseh continues the charge to steer the lowly club which he joined in December, 2016 from the murky waters of relegation.

“Congratulations to my players, club & fans @fortuna for this historic 5-2 victory over Ajax Yesterday,1’s again from a 0-2 deficit. God’s GR8,” he wrote on his verified Twitter account, @SundayOOliseh on Tuesday.
Oliseh had earlier spoken about the strength of the opposition as he attempted, pre-match, to drum up support from the club’s fans for the team.“During away games the fans are a great support to the team. They help us tremendously.
“We will desperately need the support of the fans for the game at home to Jong Ajax .
“It will be very difficult for us. Ajax has probably the best team in the Jupiler League. They come with confidence to Sittard.
“Just look at their last matches, they RKC (4-1) and Almere City (6-3) have crushed,” Oliseh had told the club’s official website, www.fortunasittard.nl.
Fortuna Sittard currently occupies 17th spot in the 20-team Eerste Divisie standings with 23 points from 24 matches.
